SmallRig Advanced "Hawklock" Cage for Sony FX5 6774

SmallRig Advanced "Hawklock" Cage for Sony FX5 6774 is designed to protect the camera body while providing multiple mounting interfaces for accessory expansion. The cage features a modular design and includes top mount plates and a U-shaped cage. Protective pads are built into camera contact points to help prevent scratches.

The top mount plates are each secured with two screws and can be removed for compatibility with the Sony XLR handle (XLRH2B) and electronic viewfinder (DVFEL1B). The U-shaped cage is secured by three 1/4"-20 screws on both sides and the bottom to provide stable, anti-twist mounting.

The battery compartment features a lever design that better follows the camera body’s contours, improving finger support and grip comfort. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp helps protect the port and maintain stable signal transmission during shooting.

The cage includes built-in 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, ARRI locating holes, a NATO rail, an Arca-type quick release plate, a wrist strap slot, and more for the attachment of a wide range of professional accessories. In addition to enabling quick installation and removal, the NATO rail and Arca-type quick release plate feature an anti-drop design at both ends to improve security even in demanding shooting environments.

A magnetic wrench is built into the cage for convenient access and easy assembly.

Note:

1. When using the top plate with the NATO rail, confirmed compatible hot shoe accessories include the Sony ECM-B1M, ECM-M1, ECM-B10, and the DJI Mic 2 hot shoe adapter. Confirmed incompatible hot shoe accessories include the Sony ECM-W3, ECM-W3S, and ECM-W2BT microphones.

2. When using the Sony XLR handle (XLRH2B) or Sony EVF (DVFEL1B), all top plates must be removed first.
