Accessories, such as Cold Shoe 1960 and Safety Rail 1409 could be attached via 1/4"-20 threaded holes in standard spacing. The mounting of the cold shoe helps to attach flash light, microphone, wireless receiver and so on. The ARRI locating holes could attach 3/8" Accessory Shoe Adapter 1967 and then magic arms to prevent the magic arms from loosening.
