SmallRig Mount Plate for Canon EOS R8 Mark II 7395 is designed to improve grip comfort while providing basic expansion and mounting support. When using the camera body alone, the pinky finger may not have enough support, which can lead to fatigue during extended shooting. The mount plate is precisely shaped to match the curve of the Canon EOS R8 Mark II and adds approximately 13.0mm (0.5in) of height to provide better hand support, helping distribute pressure more evenly for a more comfortable grip and a steadier one-handed hold.
Made of aluminum alloy and weighing only 86.6g (3.1oz), it helps protect the bottom of the camera from scratches while supporting tripod mounting without adding unnecessary weight. It is Arca-Swiss compatible and features multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, and a wrist strap slot, allowing quick switching between tripod use and handheld shooting without the need for an additional quick release plate.
