SmallRig Modular Metal Cage for Hasselblad X2D II 100C / X2D 100C (Black) 5929 is designed to provide reliable protection and improved handling for the camera body. The all-round design helps protect the camera’s metal edges from impact and wear, while multiple built-in silicone pads reduce the risk of scratches and scuffs during installation and use.
The cage combines an aluminum alloy frame with an integrated TPE handle for a comfortable, anti-slip grip, enhancing the overall handling experience. Inspired by the historic role of Hasselblad cameras in humanity’s first moon landing, the hot shoe cover is precision CNC-machined with a crater-like texture and color-matched to the camera body for a consistent visual style.
For efficient operation, the cage features a quick-open hinge for three-step installation, while maintaining full access to the camera’s data ports. It also includes a bottom Arca-type quick release plate and an integrated hidden compartment for AirTag placement and gear tracking, offering both protection and expansion for professional imaging workflows.
Note: This product is not compatible with the original Hasselblad shoulder strap interface.
