SmallRig Bottom Mount Plate for Nikon Z5IIC (Silver) 6696 is designed to improve grip comfort and provide basic expansion for the Nikon Z5IIC. Shaped to follow the curve of the camera body and raise its height by approximately 13.0mm (0.5in), it provides extra support for the little finger, improves one-handed grip stability, and distributes pressure more evenly to reduce hand fatigue during extended handheld shooting.

For users who do not need the added functions of a cage or L-bracket but still want basic expansion capability, this lightweight baseplate offers a practical solution. Made of aluminum alloy and weighing only 79.5g (2.8oz), it helps protect the bottom of the camera from scratches while providing basic tripod mounting for portable shooting.

The baseplate features a built-in Arca-Swiss quick release plate, along with multiple 1/4"-20 mounting holes and a lanyard hole, allowing fast switching between tripod use (ID 5477, 5478) and handheld shooting without the need for a separate quick release plate. It also supports use with DJI gimbals and allows a lanyard (ID 3926) to be attached at the bottom for more secure handheld shooting.

Visually, it features a black anodized finish designed to match the camera body. Tight tolerance control reduces visible color differences and improves the overall visual consistency after installation.
